Soil Conditioning

Soil conditioning is your best defense against drought stress. Drought-hardened or compacted soils often become hydrophobic, causing water to run off the surface rather than soaking in. Conditioning helps to break up that “concrete” like soil. Allowing water and to penetrate deeply into the soil where it is needed. Drought stress fundamentally compromises a tree’s physiological health, effectively "shutting down" its immune system and leaving it highly vulnerable to pests and diseases.
